We are looking for an experienced Timetabling Consultant to bring deep higher education scheduling expertise into a team rebuilding what timetabling software should look like. You will be the bridge between the realities of running a university timetabling office and the product we are building, helping shape feature priorities, guiding implementation at partner institutions, and acting as a trusted advisor to registrars, timetabling officers, and IT directors. This is a rare opportunity to take decades of practical knowledge from the legacy timetabling world and apply it to the platform that will replace it.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise the product team on real-world timetabling workflows, edge cases, and institutional policies that the platform must support

• Lead implementation engagements with partner universities, including data migration, configuration, and stakeholder training

• Act as a senior point of contact for registrars, timetabling officers, and academic leadership during onboarding and beyond

• Translate sector knowledge into clear product requirements, training materials, and best-practice guidance

• Help shape go-to-market and partnership conversations with UK higher education institutions

Requirements

• Significant hands-on experience in higher education timetabling, ideally including time spent leading or supporting a university timetabling office

• Working knowledge of established timetabling platforms used across the higher education sector

• Strong understanding of university operations, academic governance, and the constraints that shape scheduling decisions

• Excellent communication skills with comfort moving between operational detail and senior stakeholder conversations

• Genuine interest in shaping a modern product, not just running existing software
