We are looking for a Product Designer to define how CrunchTime feels to use. The legacy timetabling systems we are replacing are notoriously hostile to their users, and the bar for what registrars, timetabling officers, and academic staff deserve is much higher than what they currently get. You will work closely with engineering, product, and our timetabling consultants to design a product that is both deeply functional and a genuine pleasure to work with every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product design across the CrunchTime platform, from research and discovery through to high-fidelity flows and prototypes

• Translate the realities of university timetabling into clean, intuitive interfaces that solve real operational problems

• Run user research with timetabling officers, registrars, and academic staff to ground design decisions in real needs

• Partner with engineers to ship designs that hold up in production, iterating on detail and polish as the product matures

• Contribute to the broader design system and brand expression of the product as it scales

Requirements

• Strong portfolio demonstrating shipped product work, ideally in B2B SaaS or complex domain-specific software

• 3+ years of professional product design experience with a focus on functional, data-dense, workflow-driven products

• Fluency in Figma and modern design tooling

• Ability to balance design ambition with engineering reality and ship work that holds up over multiple iterations

• Comfort working directly with users in interviews, usability sessions, and on-site research
