We are looking for an Account Executive to lead the commercial conversation with UK universities considering CrunchTime. The UK higher education timetabling market is dominated by legacy incumbents that have not materially invested in their products in years, and we are the credible modern alternative those institutions are starting to look for. This role is about running serious, consultative sales conversations with registrars, IT directors, and senior university leadership, and converting interest into signed agreements.
Key Responsibilities
• Own the full sales cycle for UK higher education prospects, from initial qualification through demo, evaluation, and contract close
• Run consultative discovery and tailored demos that connect CrunchTime’s capabilities to each institution’s specific priorities
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities across the UK higher education sector
• Work closely with the founders, timetabling consultants, and implementation team to align commercial and delivery commitments
• Contribute to the commercial playbook as the team grows, refining messaging, materials, and process based on what works in the field
Requirements
• 3+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience with a track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals
• Experience selling into higher education, public sector, or enterprise environments strongly preferred
• Strong consultative selling skills with the credibility to engage senior university stakeholders
• Comfort owning a pipeline, forecasting accurately, and operating with autonomy in a small team
• Genuine interest in the product and the sector, and a desire to help build a category-defining company
